Move from Webflow to WordPress and keep the search traffic you’ve built.

Webflow can export your CMS collections as a spreadsheet, but the images in that file still load from Webflow, and the design doesn’t come with it. We move the content, re-host every image and file, rebuild the design, and redirect every page that ranks or has links.

Who this Webflow to WordPress migration is for

A good fit

  • Marketing teams that want plugins, integrations, or more people editing than their Webflow plan covers
  • Sites whose Webflow bill went up when the CMS and Business plans merged
  • Teams paying for extra Webflow seats so people can update content

Probably not a fit

  • Design-led teams who love the Webflow Designer and only publish occasionally
  • Small sites where the Webflow bill isn’t a real problem

Why teams leave Webflow

Webflow moves usually start with the bill or with the cost of adding editors, and end up being about how much control the team wants over the site.

New plans in May 2026

In May 2026 Webflow merged its CMS and Business plans into one Premium plan at $25 a month billed yearly or $39 billed monthly. Existing sites move over at renewal, and Webflow says some will pay more.

Editors need seats

Webflow retired its legacy Editor on August 4, 2026. People who update content now work in Edit mode with a client or limited seat on a Workspace plan, so every new editor is a seat to add and manage.

Images stay on Webflow

Webflow says image and file links in a CSV export point to the original project, and break permanently if that project is deleted.

What moves from Webflow to WordPress

CMS content comes out of Webflow as CSV and is checked item by item in WordPress. Pages are rebuilt to match your current design.

What moves from Webflow to WordPress
CMS collectionsMoves unchangedExported as CSV and mapped to WordPress content types and fields. Webflow exports one language at a time, so multilingual sites are exported once per language.
Static pagesRebuiltRebuilt as WordPress templates or blocks, matching the current design.
Images and filesMoves unchangedDownloaded from Webflow’s servers and re-hosted in WordPress, including images inside blog posts and other rich text.
SEO settingsMoves unchangedPage titles, meta descriptions, social sharing images, and canonical tags (which tell Google the main version of a page) carried over page by page.
Interactions and animationsRebuiltRecreated with CSS or a small script where they help visitors. Any purely decorative effect we plan to drop is agreed with you first.
FormsRebuiltRebuilt in WordPress and connected to the same inbox or CRM.
LanguagesMoves, with changesWebflow Localize languages move to a WordPress multilingual plugin, keeping the same /fr/ or /de/ style prefixes.

Redirects and URLs

What to watch when leaving Webflow

Webflow’s URLs translate well to WordPress, so most pages keep their address. These four details decide whether they all do.

Collection folders

Webflow keeps CMS items under a folder like /blog/ or /resources/. We set up WordPress with the same folders so those addresses don’t change.

Images and PDFs

Files are served from Webflow’s servers. They have to be copied to WordPress before the Webflow site is unpublished.

Your existing redirects

Redirects you’ve already set up in Webflow are exported and recreated in WordPress, so older links keep working.

Trailing slashes

Webflow addresses end without a slash, and WordPress adds one by default. We set WordPress to match your Webflow addresses so old links and Google’s index land on the same page.

Our Webflow to WordPress migration process

1

Quote

Send your site. We review it and send a quote and timeline within one business day.

2

Build

We map every old page to its new address, rebuild your templates, and move content, images, and SEO settings on a private preview site you can check.

3

Launch

We compare the old and new sites page by page, point your domain to the new site, tell Google about the new pages, and test each redirect once it’s live.

4

Monitor

For 90 days we watch which pages Google indexes and how much traffic your moved pages get. Anything our work caused, we fix at no cost, with reports at 30, 60, and 90 days.

  • A private preview to review before launch
  • Launch handled, including pointing your domain

Our SEO migration guarantee

Nobody can promise rankings after a migration, and we don’t. We commit in writing to the process that protects them.

Every known page is mapped

Every address we find in your sitemap, Search Console, analytics, and backlinks gets a destination: a matching page, the closest match, or a planned removal. You see the full list before launch.

Nothing breaks by accident

Pages you choose to retire are removed on purpose. If any other old link stops working after launch, we fix it.

90 days of monitoring

We watch which pages Google indexes, any errors it reports, and traffic to your moved pages for 90 days, with a report at 30, 60, and 90 days.

We fix our mistakes for free

If something we missed or broke causes a problem in those 90 days, we fix it at no cost.

The guarantee covers our work. It doesn’t cover Google algorithm updates, content you change after launch, pages removed at your request, or problems caused by your host, third-party plugins, or other vendors.

When you should stay on Webflow

If your team designs in Webflow every week and the bill is manageable, keep the Designer. Visual design is where Webflow is strongest, and WordPress handles it differently. Check whether a different Webflow plan or fewer seats solves the cost problem before deciding to move.

FAQ

Common questions about moving from Webflow to WordPress.

Can I export my Webflow site?+

Partly. CMS collections export as CSV, and paid Workspace plans can export the site’s code, but that code leaves out your CMS content, forms, and other languages. The content still has to be moved and its images re-hosted, and the design rebuilt for WordPress.

Will our URLs change?+

Usually not. We keep your collection folders and page addresses the same, and recreate the redirects you already have in Webflow.

Will we lose rankings?+

Because most Webflow addresses stay the same in WordPress, there’s little to redirect and less to go wrong. Expect some movement for a few weeks while Google recrawls the site. We watch Search Console for 90 days and fix anything our work caused. Nobody can honestly guarantee rankings.

What happens to our images?+

We download every image and file, including those inside blog posts, and re-host them so nothing depends on your Webflow project.

Can we move to Next.js instead?+

Yes. That’s a separate migration with its own page and price: Webflow to Next.js, from $9,500.

How long does it take?+

Most Webflow sites with up to 25 pages take three to five weeks.
