Who this HubSpot CMS to Webflow migration is for

A good fit

  • B2B and SaaS marketing teams that keep HubSpot CRM but want to design pages without a developer
  • Teams paying for Content Hub mainly to host the website
  • Sites with a HubSpot blog and landing pages that bring in organic traffic
  • Marketing teams that want visual control over layout and design

Probably not a fit

  • Teams that rely on HubSpot’s smart content, memberships, or CMS-based personalization
  • Sites that need plugins and many editors, where our HubSpot to WordPress migration fits better
  • Engineering-led teams that want the site in their product codebase, where HubSpot to Next.js fits better

Why teams move their website from HubSpot to Webflow

The CRM usually stays. What teams question is paying for HubSpot’s website tools when design changes still need a developer.

  • Content Hub pricing

HubSpot lists Content Hub Professional as starting at $500 a month with three seats included, or $6,000 a year before extra seats.

  • Design changes are hard in HubSpot

In a Webflow partner’s case study, Finmatics moved off HubSpot because its marketing team couldn’t easily make updates or publish new content. More than 70 pages were rebuilt in Webflow in 12 weeks, with HubSpot forms kept connected.

  • You can keep the CRM

HubSpot forms, tracking code, and chat work on any website, so the CMS can change without disrupting sales and marketing.

What moves from HubSpot CMS to Webflow

Blog posts and files are exported from HubSpot and imported into Webflow. Pages are rebuilt in Webflow. HubSpot forms and tracking stay connected.

What moves from HubSpot CMS to Webflow
Blog postsMoves unchangedExported from HubSpot and imported into a Webflow CMS collection with authors, dates, tags, and images.
Website and landing pagesRebuiltRebuilt in Webflow to match the live design. HubSpot can export page content, but not a working design.
Files and imagesMoves unchangedDownloaded from HubSpot’s file manager and re-hosted, so nothing still points to HubSpot’s file domains.
HubSpot formsMoves, with changesConnected through Webflow’s HubSpot app or HubSpot’s embed code, with your new domain added in HubSpot so submissions aren’t marked as spam.
Tracking and chatMoves unchangedHubSpot’s tracking code and chat are added to every Webflow page, so analytics and contact history keep working.
Existing redirectsMoves unchangedHubSpot’s redirects stop working once your domain moves, so we export them and rebuild them in Webflow.
Smart content and membershipsRebuiltReplaced with Webflow features or third-party tools where possible. We agree on each one with you before work starts.

Redirects and URLs

Where HubSpot to Webflow moves lose traffic

HubSpot creates more blog addresses than most teams realize. Each one Google knows about needs a redirect.

  • Tag and author pages

HubSpot blogs have tag pages under /blog/tag/ and author pages under /blog/author/. They map to matching Webflow pages or the closest listing.

  • Blog listing pages

HubSpot also serves a full listing at /blog/all and paged versions of the blog, which need their own redirects.

  • File addresses

Images and PDFs on HubSpot’s file domains are re-hosted, and links to them are updated across the site.

  • Collection folders

Webflow keeps CMS items under a folder like /blog/. We match your existing blog folder so post addresses change as little as possible.

  • Landing pages on subdomains

Landing pages on separate HubSpot subdomains are found and accounted for before anything is cancelled, so none are lost.

What we guarantee, and what we can’t

No one can promise how Google will rank your site after a move, including us. What we can promise is the work that protects your rankings, done carefully and put in writing.

Ask us about the guarantee

What no one can promise

Google decides rankings, not us. Even a careful migration can cause some movement while Google recrawls the new site and works out what changed, and it can take a few weeks to settle.

Google also changes how it ranks sites throughout the year. If an update shifts your traffic, that isn’t something any migration team controls. Anyone who guarantees your rankings is promising something they can’t deliver.

What we do promise

We take every precaution we know of, and we stay accountable after launch.

  • Every page we can find gets a new home. We collect old addresses from your sitemap, Google Search Console, analytics, and links from other sites. Each one gets a destination: the matching page, the closest match, or a removal you’ve agreed to. You see the full list before launch.

  • Nothing is removed by accident. Pages you choose to retire are removed on purpose. If any other old link stops working after launch, we fix it.

  • We watch for 90 days. After launch we track which pages Google indexes, any errors it reports, and traffic to the pages we moved, and we send you a report at 30, 60, and 90 days.

  • If it’s our mistake, we fix it for free. If something we missed or broke causes a problem in those 90 days, we fix it at no cost.

What it doesn’t cover

The guarantee covers our work. It doesn’t cover Google algorithm updates, content you change after launch, pages removed at your request, or problems caused by your host, third-party plugins, or other vendors.

When you should stay on HubSpot CMS

If you rely on HubSpot’s smart content, memberships, or personalization tied to CRM data, rebuilding those outside HubSpot can cost more than it saves. If your team needs plugins and many editors rather than visual design control, HubSpot to WordPress is the better move.

HubSpot CMS to Webflow questions

Common questions about moving from HubSpot CMS to Webflow. If yours isn’t here, send us your site and ask. You’ll hear back within one business day.

Get a migration quote
Can we keep using HubSpot CRM and forms?

Yes. HubSpot forms, tracking, and chat work on a Webflow site. We connect them before launch and test that submissions reach your CRM.

Will our blog URLs change?

We keep your blog folder and post addresses wherever Webflow allows it. Tag, author, and listing pages that change get their own redirect.

How much will we save?

That depends on your Content Hub plan and seats, and on the Webflow plan and seats you choose. HubSpot lists Professional as starting at $500 a month with three seats. We check the numbers against your invoice before you commit.

Should we move to WordPress or Webflow?

Webflow suits teams that want to design pages visually. WordPress suits teams that need plugins and many editors. Both are separate migrations with their own prices, and we’re happy to compare them with you.

Will we lose our Google rankings?

Lasting losses usually come from missed tag pages, file links, and subdomain landing pages, which we map before launch. Expect some movement while Google recrawls. We monitor search for 90 days and fix anything our work caused at no charge. No one can promise rankings, but our guarantee covers our work.

How long does it take?

Most sites with up to 50 pages and a blog take four to six weeks.
