Wix to Shopify
For Wix stores that want a platform built around selling.
From$3,500
Typical timeline3–6 weeks
- Products with more than three options reworked
- Orders and blog moved, digital products set up again
- Covered by our SEO migration guarantee
Wix sites can’t be hosted anywhere else, so every move off Wix is a rebuild. We move your products, customers, orders, and blog to Shopify, rework products with more options than Shopify allows, redirect every page that ranks or has links, and monitor search for 90 days after launch.
Wix is easy to start on. Stores that grow tend to want a platform built around selling, and one they can leave later.
Wix says its sites must run on Wix’s own infrastructure and can’t be hosted anywhere else, so leaving always means rebuilding.
In the US, selling in other currencies with Wix Payments adds a 1% currency conversion fee and a 1.5% cross-border fee where it applies.
Shopify’s share of sites with a known CMS rose from 5.7% at the start of 2023 to 7.9% in October 2026.
Products and customers move with Shopify’s migration app or Wix’s exports. Orders, digital products, and reviews need extra steps.
| Item | What happens | How we handle it |
|---|---|---|
| Products and variants | Moves, with changes | Moved with images, prices, and stock. Wix allows six options per product and Shopify allows three, so products with more than three options are reworked with you first. Prices set by location become a single price, because Shopify doesn’t support them. |
| Digital products | Rebuilt | Wix can’t export digital products, so each one is set up again in Shopify with its files. |
| Customers | Moves unchanged | Customer records move. Passwords can’t be moved, so customers sign in with a one-time code sent to their email. |
| Order history | Moves unchanged | Exported from Wix and imported with a migration app, so past orders stay visible. |
| Blog posts | Moves unchanged | Moved with their images and dates into a Shopify blog. |
| Reviews | Moves, with changes | Moved into a Shopify review app where your Wix setup allows an export. |
| Pages and design | Rebuilt | Rebuilt with your Shopify theme’s sections to match the live site. |
Redirects and URLs
Wix and Shopify each put pages under their own folders, and they don’t match. Every product, category, and post needs a redirect.
Wix products usually live under /product-page/. Shopify uses /products/, so each product gets its own permanent (301) redirect.
Wix posts live under /post/ and Shopify posts under /blogs/, so every post gets its own redirect.
Redirects you set up in Wix disappear when the site leaves Wix. We export them and rebuild them in Shopify.
Images and files hosted on Wix are moved before you cancel, and their old addresses redirected where possible.
Shopify allows up to 100,000 redirects, and each one only starts working once the old page is gone, so we build and test the full list before launch.

02
We map every old page to its new address, rebuild your templates, and move content, images, and SEO on a private preview site you can check.

We compare the old and new sites page by page, point your domain to the new site, tell Google about the new pages, and test each redirect once it’s live.
04
For 90 days we watch which pages Google indexes and how much traffic your moved pages get. Anything our work caused, we fix at no cost, with reports at 30, 60, and 90 days.

“From” is the starting price for the kind of site described. Prices depend on your site’s size and setup. You get a quote before any work starts, and we don’t bill by the hour.
No one can promise how Google will rank your site after a move, including us. What we can promise is the work that protects your rankings, done carefully and put in writing.
Ask us about the guaranteeGoogle decides rankings, not us. Even a careful migration can cause some movement while Google recrawls the new site and works out what changed, and it can take a few weeks to settle.
Google also changes how it ranks sites throughout the year. If an update shifts your traffic, that isn’t something any migration team controls. Anyone who guarantees your rankings is promising something they can’t deliver.
We take every precaution we know of, and we stay accountable after launch.
Every page we can find gets a new home. We collect old addresses from your sitemap, Google Search Console, analytics, and links from other sites. Each one gets a destination: the matching page, the closest match, or a removal you’ve agreed to. You see the full list before launch.
Nothing is removed by accident. Pages you choose to retire are removed on purpose. If any other old link stops working after launch, we fix it.
We watch for 90 days. After launch we track which pages Google indexes, any errors it reports, and traffic to the pages we moved, and we send you a report at 30, 60, and 90 days.
If it’s our mistake, we fix it for free. If something we missed or broke causes a problem in those 90 days, we fix it at no cost.
The guarantee covers our work. It doesn’t cover Google algorithm updates, content you change after launch, pages removed at your request, or problems caused by your host, third-party plugins, or other vendors.
If the store is a small part of a service business and sells a few products, Wix’s store may be all you need. If you’re leaving Wix for more control rather than for selling, our Wix to WordPress migration is the better fit.

Get a migration quoteShopify’s import tool supports Wix in early access, but only for products and customers. It doesn’t move orders, collections, menus, SEO data, blog posts, pages, or reviews, and it doesn’t set up redirects. That’s the part we handle.
No. Passwords can’t be moved to Shopify, but Shopify customer accounts sign in with an email and a one-time code, so customers can sign in from day one.
Shopify allows three options per product, while Wix allows six. We rework those products with you before the move, usually by splitting them or turning an option into a separate product.
Yes. Shopify uses /products/, /collections/, and /blogs/, so every product, category, and post gets its own redirect before launch.
Any size. The starting price covers up to 250 products and 25 pages. Larger catalogs are quoted after we review the store.
Most stores with up to 250 products take three to six weeks.
Send us your Wix site. We’ll review it, count the pages, and reply with a quote and timeline within one business day. It’s free, with no obligation.
