Who this Webflow to Framer migration is for

A good fit

  • Design-led teams that want to design and publish in one tool
  • Marketing sites with a blog or resource library of up to a few thousand items
  • Teams frustrated by Webflow’s 2026 plan and seat changes
  • Startups that want to ship landing pages quickly without a developer

Probably not a fit

  • Content-heavy sites with tens of thousands of CMS items or complex relationships
  • Sites that rely on Webflow Ecommerce or Localization
  • Teams that want to export and own their code, where Webflow to Next.js fits better

Why teams move from Webflow to Framer

Most moves come from design-led teams who want faster publishing and simpler pricing after Webflow’s 2026 changes.

  • New plans in May 2026

In May 2026 Webflow merged its CMS and Business plans into one Premium plan at $25 a month billed yearly or $39 billed monthly. Existing sites move over at renewal, and Webflow says some will pay more.

  • Editors need seats

Webflow retired its legacy Editor on August 4, 2026. Anyone who updates content now needs a paid seat, so every new editor adds to the bill.

  • Framer’s pricing is simpler for small teams

Framer’s Pro plan is $30 a month with 2,500 CMS items included, and each additional editor costs $20 a month.

Redirects and URLs

Where Webflow to Framer moves lose traffic

Both platforms use folder-based CMS addresses, so most URLs can stay the same. These details keep it that way.

  • Collection folders

Webflow CMS items live under a folder like /blog/. Framer CMS pages use the same kind of path, so we keep your folders and page addresses.

  • Images and files

Images on Webflow’s servers are moved into Framer before the Webflow site is unpublished.

  • Your existing redirects

Redirects you’ve set up in Webflow are recreated in Framer so older links keep working.

  • Same-domain redirects only

Framer redirects only work within your current domain. Old subdomains or domains need redirects set up where the domain is managed.

  • SEO titles and descriptions

Page titles, descriptions, and social images are moved page by page and checked before launch.

What we guarantee, and what we can’t

No one can promise how Google will rank your site after a move, including us. What we can promise is the work that protects your rankings, done carefully and put in writing.

Ask us about the guarantee

What no one can promise

Google decides rankings, not us. Even a careful migration can cause some movement while Google recrawls the new site and works out what changed, and it can take a few weeks to settle.

Google also changes how it ranks sites throughout the year. If an update shifts your traffic, that isn’t something any migration team controls. Anyone who guarantees your rankings is promising something they can’t deliver.

What we do promise

We take every precaution we know of, and we stay accountable after launch.

  • Every page we can find gets a new home. We collect old addresses from your sitemap, Google Search Console, analytics, and links from other sites. Each one gets a destination: the matching page, the closest match, or a removal you’ve agreed to. You see the full list before launch.

  • Nothing is removed by accident. Pages you choose to retire are removed on purpose. If any other old link stops working after launch, we fix it.

  • We watch for 90 days. After launch we track which pages Google indexes, any errors it reports, and traffic to the pages we moved, and we send you a report at 30, 60, and 90 days.

  • If it’s our mistake, we fix it for free. If something we missed or broke causes a problem in those 90 days, we fix it at no cost.

What it doesn’t cover

The guarantee covers our work. It doesn’t cover Google algorithm updates, content you change after launch, pages removed at your request, or problems caused by your host, third-party plugins, or other vendors.

When you should stay on Webflow

If your site has many thousands of CMS items, complex relationships, or several languages, Webflow’s CMS is likely the better home. If you’re moving for more editors and plugins rather than design speed, Webflow to WordPress is a better fit.

Webflow to Framer questions

Common questions about moving from Webflow to Framer. If yours isn’t here, send us your site and ask. You’ll hear back within one business day.

Get a migration quote
Can Framer import a Webflow site?

Not the whole site. Webflow CMS collections can be imported from spreadsheet exports, but pages and interactions have to be rebuilt in Framer.

Will our URLs change?

Usually not. We keep your CMS folders and page addresses and recreate your existing Webflow redirects. Anything that does change gets its own redirect.

Will the site look the same?

Yes, as closely as we can. We rebuild it in Framer to match the live site on every screen size, including the interactions that matter.

Should we move to Framer or WordPress?

Framer suits design-led teams that publish visually. WordPress suits teams that need plugins and many editors. Both are separate migrations, and we’re happy to compare them with you.

Will we lose our Google rankings?

With addresses kept and redirects carried over, the main risks are missed images or page titles and descriptions, which we check before launch. Expect some movement while Google recrawls. We monitor search for 90 days and fix anything our work caused at no charge. No one can promise rankings, but our guarantee covers our work.

How long does it take?

Most sites with up to 25 pages and 500 CMS items take three to five weeks.
